Two planes make emergency landings at KCI

Two planes make emergency landings at Kansas City International Airport Monday evening.

A Boeing 717 landed without incident at KCI around 4:45 p.m., pilots on board reported a fuel leak.

Officials at KCI said one of the planes engines also caught fire. The plane was carrying over 100 people.

An Alaska Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing after suffering cabin pressure issues Monday.

That flight was also carrying over 100 people.

No injuries were reported on both flights. Some delays were reported due to the landings.
