Two local businesses give back to help vulnerable citizens

TOPEKA (WIBW)--- It takes a village to care for our most vulnerable citizens. Monday, a Topeka business stepped up to take on that mission.

Reser's Cares presented Easterseals Capper foundation with a $700 grant check.

Capper will use the money to pay registration fees for a three-day conference called 'It Takes Two To Talk.' It's an interactive training on parent-centered early language development.

Also helping Monday was The Wheel Barrel in NOTO. The restaurant donated 10 percent of its sales to Capper to mark World Autism Awareness Day.
