TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) Two dogs are missing after an early morning house fire in south Jackson Co.
Crews were called to the 12000 block of 110th street, about a mile and a half west of HWY 75, around 1:30 Monday morning.
The house was fully engulfed when they got there, according to the Hoyt Fire Chief Edward Kester.
Four people who lived in the home were able to make it safely outside on their own.
The crews contained the fire but are currently battling small flare ups...
The biggest challenge is they had a limited amount of water and are only able to use one truck to battle the fire.
