TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Tuesday is Election Day. County elections officials say turnout may not high, meaning races could come down to a couple of votes.
The ballot includes city council and school board seats, plus local bond issues and sales tax questions.
Some of those school districts cross county lines which could mean final results will take longer than in other elections.
"Other counties have different time frames and different schedules for their canvases, so it takes a while sometimes to understand and unravel who the winner's going to be. So it will take some time if you have a really close election."
13 NEWS will post election results Tuesday on-air, online, and on our app. Remember, they're unofficial results until counties canvass their numbers.
