TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Police Dept. is asking for the public's help locating two children who have been missing for nearly a week.

Destiney L. Thompson, 12, and Hamari D. Thompson, 10, were last seen on Saturday in Topeka, investigators say.

They believe the children are with their non-custodial, biological mother Britney L. Thompson, 27, who lives in Kansas City, Missouri.

Anyone who has information on where Destiney and Hamari may be is asked to call their local law enforcement.

At this point, no Amber Alert has been issued for their disappearance.
