Topeka police investigating after shooting victim arrives at hospital

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Police Dept. is investigating after someone showed up at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators say the individual, whose name was not released, arrived at the hospital around 5:30 p.m. and had apparently been shot once in the leg. They do not consider the injuries life-threatening.

The person was not cooperating with the investigation, however, police say.
