Topeka man sentenced for part in pizza shop drug ring

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man was sentenced Monday for his role in a meth trafficking organization that operated out of a local pizza shop.

U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister says Michael Price, 43, will serve seven years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

In his plea, Price admitted he was part of a drug trafficking ring headed by Adolfo Barragan-Rodriguez, who ran the operation from Pronto Pizza. The restaurant was located at 1121 SE 6th Ave.

Price bought meth from another co-defendant, Michelle Belair, then sold it. Barragan-Rodriguez was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Belair was sentenced to 13.
