Topeka Train Robbers lose on Opening Night

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The first game in Topeka Train Robbers history didn't start nor end the way the team hoped.

The Train Robbers surrendered two runs to the defending Pecos League champions in the first inning.

The Roswell Invaders added seven more runs throughout the night, winning 9-4 in the opener.

Game two of the series is Saturday and it will finish up Sunday night.
