TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police spent Thursday night investigating a pair of shootings that happened within minutes of each other.
One of the incidents was in the 1500 block of SE 23rd.
Officers responding to a disturbance around 7:45 p.m. found an adult man with a gun shot wound. Police say he is expected to recover.
Topeka Police are investigating what led to the shooting. So far, they had not made any arrests, nor did they have any description of a possible suspect.
Around the same time as that report came in, police say two other people showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.
TPD says they believe this incident happened at Raintree Apartments, 3708 SW 29th St., which is just east of Gage Blvd.
Both victims are expected to survive. Authorities were at the scene investigating, but police had not identified any suspects.
