TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man was sentenced to federal prison Tuesday for robbing a credit union last year.

Robert Frazier, 63, was sentenced to five years after pleading guilty to one count of robbery, according to U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister.

In his plea, Frazier admitted to robbing the Azura Credit Union on 1129 S. Kansas Ave. on August 20th, 2018. He told a teller, "This is a robbery. Give me all your twenties, fifties and hundreds."

After getting the money, he left the building and sat down at a wall. An off-duty Topeka Police Officer working security arrested him.
