MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Spring 2019 marks the 152nd class to graduate from Kansas State University.
More than 3,250 students graduated from KSU this spring.
Over 150 of those graduating from K-State on Saturday, were in the College of Education.
The College of Education’s graduation included a commencement address from Joe Hubener, a 2015 K-State alum and former Wildcat football player.
For one graduate, receiving her degree brings her one step closer to making an impact on young minds, just like her teachers did for her.
“I decided to do Elementary Education, because of the amount of impact I had teachers…that teachers had on me from growing up. And then, here at Kansas State University, I had a great mentor who helped me along the way.” Kansas State University, Elementary Education graduate, Abigail Kohake says.
At KSU, more than 2,300 of those graduating this spring, received their bachelor’s degrees.
