TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Police Dept. is asking for help finding a 36-year-old woman who may have information about a Thursday evening shooting.
Investigators are trying to track down Jessica Joann Spencer, who is considered a person of interest in the shooting, which happened at a southeast Topeka home.
According to police, officers responded to the house, in the 1500 block of SE 23rd Street, around 7:46 p.m. after reports of a disturbance and an argument between two people who knew each other. Before they arrived, police received another call saying someone at the residence had been shot.
When they did arrive, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The name of the man has not been released. He is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
After talking to witnesses and collecting evidence from the scene, investigators determined the shooting was linked to the argument.
