TPD responds to stabbing in southeast Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Police Dept. is investigating a reported stabbing in the southeast part of town late Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded just before 4 p.m. to a disturbance in the 1100 block of SE Highland Ave. where they found the victim stabbed in the hand, investigators say.

The described the injuries as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not release any details about a possible suspect or if anyone was in custody in connection with the incident.
