TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Two children are recovering after being bitten by a dog Monday afternoon at Chesney Park, according to the Topeka Police Dept.

They witnesses stayed with the kids until an ambulance arrived.
TPD says the children were taken to a local hospital where they were treated and released. Detectives are still trying to locate the dog and its owner. The dog is described only as tan colored.
