TPD: Man wearing surgical mask robbed Cricket Wireless Sunday

Topeka Police are looking for the person they say robbed a wireless store Sunday afternoon.

Officers say they were called to the Cricket Wireless store at 1104 SW 6th around 12:35 p.m. Sunday.

An employee told them a black man armed with a handgun walked into the store and took some cash.

He's described as being 5-foot-5 inches tall, about 150 pounds, with orange hair and a surgical mask over his face.

The employee told officers the suspect fled in a silver passenger car.

Nobody was hurt in this robbery.
