LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) -- A 33-year-old Lawrence man was arrested in connection with dozens of burglaries, and now police are looking to reunite all of the stolen goods that were recovered with their rightful owners.

According to the Lawrence Police Dept., Brian L. Farrar was taken into custody Thursday and booked into the Douglas Co. Jail on suspicion of committing multiple burglaries.

A second man, Jonathan J. Collins, had been arrested on Nov. 20 on an unrelated warrant; however investigators expect he will face burglary counts as well.

Police say they are not looking for any other suspects at this time. Their investigation is still ongoing. Officers have served three separate search warrants so far, recovering hundreds of stolen items.

They are asking anyone who had already reported a break-in at their home and have serial numbers or another unique identifier for a missing item that was not included in their initial report to contact the police department. Anyone whose home was burglarized, but didn't file a police report is also asked to reach out to police at 785-832-7509.
