TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) -- Doctors from across Shawnee County showed off their musical talents Sunday afternoon.
The 12th annual benefit concert to assist low income uninsured residents of the county served by health access was held at First United Methodist Church.
The event featured several physicians who either sang or played an instrument.
Many doctors said they're happy to be part of a good cause while showing the community another side of them.
"We have a serious base of need in the community and really being able to have the providers who see it everyday and who really want to be able to help support that population that needs it the most and really being able to help raise money and bring our talents to that," Dr. Sri Donepundi, who sang during the concert, said.
The money raised during Sunday's event will continue to help provide ready access health care to those in need.
