JACKSON CO., Kan (WIBW) -- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a Seneca Woman is in custody following a traffic stop in southerm Jackson County Wednesday afternoon.
A Sheriff’s deputy stopped a 1999 Honda Civic traveling northbound near 214th Road south of Holton for a traffic infraction. With the help of a Sheriff’s K-9 marijuana and methamphetamine was found in the car.
The driver, 42-year-old Christina Ann Armstrong, was arrested. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of Felony possession of methamphetamine, with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony interference with law enforcement.
Armstrong is awaiting bail.
