Scholar-Athlete of the Week: West Franklin's Kamryn Prouty
West Franklin's Kamryn Prouty is the WIBW Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Prouty plays volleyball, runs track and also does rodeo. In volleyball, she's a First Team All-League player after leading the Flint Hills League with 384 kills.
As for track, she holds school records in multiple events, including the 4X100 relay, triple jump and 4X400 relay.
In rodeo, she has qualified for nationals in barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway, trail course and dally ribbon roping.
Outside of athletics, she holds office in multiple school organizations. Prouty is the Student Council's president, FFA's vice president, National Honor Society's president and Senior Class's vice president.
She has a GPA of 3.98. Prouty plans on attending Kansas State to study life science.
