Salvador Perez leads AL in fan balloting for 2016 All-Star Game

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez leads the American League in All-Star votes, MLB announced Tuesday.
Fan voting for the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game ends June 30.
Perez, who was selected by the fans to start the 2015 All-Star Game, received more than one million votes. No other American League player has reached the benchmark.
Perez is hitting .277 this season, and leads AL catchers with 46 hits. He's tied for first with seven home runs and 25 RBI.
