Salina mom & two kids missing | Police ask for help finding them

SALINA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Salne County authorities report a Salina mother and her two kids disappeared more than a week ago while on their way to a high school event. They haven't been seen since.

According to the Salina Police Dept., Rebecka Lorentsen and her two children - Donald Lorentsen, 15, and Ember Schultz, 7 - left their home in the 1400 block of South 9th Street between 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. last Thursday evening, March 31st.

The three of them reportedly planned on taking a City Go bus to Salina South High School, but never made it to the school, or back to their home late last week.

The Salina Police Department is asking for the community's help finding them. Authorities added that Rebecka Lorentsen has also gone by the name last name Swatsenberg.

If you have information about the location of Rebecka and the children, please call the Salina Police Department at 785-826-7210 and ask for the investigators handling the case.. Detective Mangels, Detective Everett, Officer Venables, or Officer Adams.
