Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation awards over $80,000 to 20 non-profits

MAYETTA, Kan. (WIBW) -- An awards ceremony was held Thursday at Prairie Band Casino and Resort, where Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation awarded over $80,000 to local programs.

The $80,285 dollars in awards was given out to twenty non-profits, schools, and health care organizations.

Potawatomi Nation donated over $311,000 to the northeast Kansas area over 2018. Contribution requests are accepted throughout the year through their website. They try to support organizations who support Kansas.
