Prairie Band Casino unveils new remodel

MAYETTA, Kan. (WIBW) - After years of planning and weeks of construction, the Prairie Band Casino's remodel is finished.

The casino held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday afternoon, revealing some of the changes they've made.

"I’ve never seen a gaming floor remodel turn out this seamlessly, and end up with such a beautiful product. I really enjoy it and the feedback that we're getting from our customers is that it's just amazing, it looks like a whole new property," Bill Marsh, the Prairie Band Casino & Resort General Manager said.

The first change is the replacement of sofas and a fireplace with a cocktail bar and coffee shop in the lobby. There have also been changes made to the reception area to modernize it.

The biggest change is the design of the game room, now with a completely new look and floor plan.

More changes are still to come in 2019.

Marsh says they'll be adding an 80-room hotel tower, an indoor/outdoor pool, and expanding the game room.
