Police search for three men after Saturday night shooting near Washburn

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka Police are looking for three men who were involved in a shooting Saturday night near Washburn University.

Police were called to 1516 SW 16th around 11:00p.m. for the report of a shooting.

When they arrived on scene, they found a man with gunshot wounds outside of the home.

He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officer say they are looking for three men who were in a small dark colored 4-door car leaving north from the area at a high rate of speed.

The three men were described as wearing dark clothing. One of them had a shirt covering his face.
