TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Nebraska woman involved in a head-on crash that killed three Sabetha family members was bound over for trial.

Maria Perez-Marquez is charged with three counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of aggravated battery. Her next hearing is set for January 11.

Carmen, Marlee, and Stephen Ukele were killed November 25, 2017, on Highway 75, north of Holton, on their way home from seeing their sons play in the state championship football game.

Authorities say Perez-Marquez was attempting to pass another vehicle when she swerved into the shoulder and crashed in the Ukele's minivan.
