People rush to grocery stores before Safer At Home Order begins

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Officials have assured people grocery stores will remain open, but that didn't stop people from rushing to stock up.

Local stores saw heavy traffic, with some people telling 13 NEWS it was like the post-thanksgiving sale crowds.

Officials ask people to not take more than they need.

Trucks are still running, and bringing new deliveries to the stores. So you will be able to get what you need, if people don't over-buy.
