OKLAHOMA CITY (KWCH) -- Three million people say they plan to "Storm Area 51" in September, but an Oklahoma City animal shelter says instead, they should come there.

The OKC Animal Welfare posted photos of animals up for adoption complete with their tin foil hats and alien filters.

"Come storm our shelter... We have great animals ready to protect you from the Area 51 aliens. Adoption isn’t that far out of this world!" Said the shelter on Facebook.

The shelter says so far, a kitten and kitten in the post have been adopted, and $822 has been raised or the Patrons of the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter Inc.
