Officer forced to shoot dog that attacked him, several children

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka police officer was forced to shoot and kill a vicious dog after it attacked multiple people, including several children.

Officers were called to the 3400 block of SW 37th to reports of a vicious dog.

When officers arrived they discovered that the dog had attacked several juveniles. When the children's father came out to inspect the commotion and screaming, he was bit by the dog.
