SENECA (13 News) -- Nemaha High Senior Madeline Rogers' 4H project on December 8th led her to help Northeast Kansans know more about conditions like Celiac Disease, Lactose intolerance, and egg-free diets, things we don't normally think about when it comes to our health.
And diabetes too.
Her Nutrition Fair in the County's Community Building also took on the topic of food allergies. Her helpers included a Registered Dietitian and other younger classmates, showing how good diets improve healthy lives.
People around Seneca visiting her Nutrition Fair could try food samples, and cookies we know they've never tried before, along with taking home information packets and brochures.
Along with her nutrition elves, her 2-hour long nutrition event was a big success. 13 News and Envista thank Madeline Rogers of Nemaha County 4H and her friends, for getting this event together.
