Missouri woman killed in Saline Co. crash

HEDVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Tipton, Missouri, woman died Thursday morning when a car went off the road in Saline Co.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Stacy Crider, 44, was riding in the car, heading east on I-70, around 4:15 a.m. when it went off the road about seven miles west of Salina. The 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier came to a rest underneath a bridge by Hedville Road.

Crider was pronounced dead at the scene, KHP said.

Trooper Ben Gardner told KWCH the crash is likely due to driver fatigue.

The 29-year-old driver, Michael Rudroff, was injured in the crash. The Rolla, Missouri, man was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment.
