MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) — Manhattan High School has made a couple of major front office hires.
On Thursday, the school names Trina Dibbini has been named an assistant principal. She is currently the assistant principal at Fort Riley Middle School, in Junction City, as well as serving as a Lead Teacher/Assistant Principal at Meadowlark Ridge Elementary School and 7th grade reading teacher at Lakewood Middle School.
"I would like to thank Mr. Hoyt, Dr. Wade, and all the committee involved in the interview process,” states Dibbini. “I am honored and extremely excited to be a part of the Manhattan-Ogden School District and the community."
Dibbini will take over at Manhattan High on August 1st, replacing Angie Messer, who plans to continue her education at Kansas State University.
The high school has also added a new Human Resources Director, hiring Andrew Turner. He will start on July 1st.
“My children have been students in the district for a number of years and I have been overly impressed with the passion of the teachers and the care of our administrators," states Turner.
Turner had served as the Program Director/Lt. Colonel at Fort Riley from 2013-16, after serving as the Senior Human Resources Manager/Major at Ft. Irwin in California and the Human Resources Manager/Major at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri.
