Man arrested in human trafficking case charged with 8 felonies

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The man KBI arrested for human trafficking earlier this week has been charged by District Attorney Michael Kagay.

Michael Anderson has been charged with eight felonies. Kagay charged Anderson with three counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, tow counts of aggravated kidnapping, and one count of aggravated battery.

Anderson is scheduled to appear in court February 27.

Anderson was arrested by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation during a Monday raid of a home near Tyler and Polk. He appeared in court the next day.
