Man arrested for June crash that killed one, hurt another

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A 19-year-old man has been booked on various charges after a June crash killed one person.

According to Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay, Lintrell Tibbs was booked over the weekend on charges of Vehicular Homicide, Unsafe Speed for Prevailing Conditions and No Seat Belt.

Tibbs was involved in a crash the afternoon of June 17th at SE 21st and Washington Streets.

Cornelia M. Moon was pronounced dead after the crash. Her passenger, Ernest E. Mildfeldt, was in critical condition and recovered.

Tibbs was not injured in the crash.
