Lyon county man who ran away from police custody, back in jail

KVOE Radio, WIBW A Lyon county man who allegedly fled the county courthouse in handcuffs is back in custody Monday.

According to KVOE Radio, Shannon Drake was at the Lyon County Courthouse for a hearing related to a bench warrant on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment when he broke free from a deputy and ran.

Lyon County Undersheriff John Koelsch says Drake was taken into custody Saturday.

KVOE Radio is reporting, drake had an arraignment Monday and will likely face at least one fugitive from justice count.

He has another appearance Wednesday on suspicion of methamphetamine distribution.
