TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Kansas City Chiefs advanced further in the playoffs this past weekend, meaning even more people are looking for chiefs gear to support their favorite team.
Local stores are preparing for the swarm of business that comes with continued playoff success, and what will come if the Chiefs keep winning.
At Rally House, sales are expected to bring in $50,000 of profit this week, and is projected to skyrocket to $180,000 if the Chiefs win in the AFC Championship against the Tennessee Titans.
“We're just ready to go here, as far as getting everything going, getting the store looking good, moving everything around and making it predominantly Chiefs," Store Manager Ashley Smith said.
Smith also said rally house needs to be staffed to handle to extra business, and is looking for up to 15 temporary workers for that period if the Chiefs advance.
