Little Apple Pride celebrates 10 years

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - A festival in Manhattan celebrated10 years of Little Apple Pride Saturday.

Hundreds gathered at the Larry Norvell band shell in Manhattan’s city park to celebrate loving everyone for who they are and being comfortable with who you are.

Notable guest speakers included former mayors Usha Reddi, and Linda Morse, City Commissioner Jerrod McKee and Kansas House Representative Sydney Carlin.

Many local musicians, bands, and drag queens had fun entertaining the crowd.

Numerous vendors were set up around the festival for those in attendance to check out.

Organizers were excited by the number of people who came out for today’s event.
