Light the Night Walk aids Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Folks took steps to end cancer Saturday night at the Light the Night walk at Hummer’s Sports Park.
The event kicked off at 7:45 p.m., and WIBW's own Chris Fisher emceed the event.
It’s a fundraiser that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the aim is to bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and cures.
Organizers say it’s all to bring communities together to celebrate those who are fighting the disease and to honor those we have lost.
