TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Lawyers are taking a time out from their daily routine to help 13 NEWS viewers get a better grasp of any legal issues they may be having.
The Kansas Bar Association and Topeka Bar Association will host their monthly Call-A-Lawyer event Wednesday at WIBW-TV. Volunteer lawyers will be in the studio answering your legal questions free of charge.
Lawyers will be available throughout all the evening newscasts starting with Eye on Northeast Kansas at 4:30 p.m. and will be on hand through 13 NEWS at 10 p.m.
Landlord-tenant issues, child custody cases and wrongful termination are just a few of the topics the lawyers will be able to help you out with.
For more complicated cases the volunteer lawyers will be able to refer you to other legal representatives that can talk about your case further. These additional services may not be free of charge, you will need to ask the volunteer lawyer when you call.
