Lawrence woman suffers life-threatening injuries in stabbing

LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Lawrence woman is fighting for her life following a stabbing early Wednesday morning.

According to the Lawrence Police Dept, officers found the woman in her home, in the 900 block of Essex Ct., around 6:15 a.m. suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The 28-year-old victim was rushed to a local trauma center with possibly life-threatening injuries. Investigators have not released her name at this time.

LPD says there is no information about a suspect available at this time.
