Launch your future with K-State's Open House

“Launch Your Future” was the theme today as Kansas State University held its annual open house event.

Warm, sunny weather had organizers expecting over twenty thousand visitors to campus today.

Inflatable race courses, bounce houses, photo booths and train rides, as well as learning how to rope a calf, there was something for just about everyone today at K-State.

Many student organizations performed on the Bosco Student Plaza throughout the day with the highlight being the Pride of Wildcat Land, K-State’s marching band.

One youngster even got to show off his drumming skills after the band’s performance and was given the drumsticks as a souvenir.
