Latest COVID-19 numbers in Kansas: 17 deaths and 620 cases

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Seventeen deaths, 151 hospitalizations and 620 total cases related to the coronavirus are reported in Kansas as of Friday. Of those who have qualified for testing, 6,454 have tested negative.

The majority of positive cases in the state have occurred in people ages 20-74 years old, with the average age being 54 years old. The youngest patient is under a year old and the oldest is 100 years old.
