LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) — The University of Kansas called off classes Thursday because of the weather.
Originally, KU planned to start classes at 10 a.m., after ending the day early on Wednesday. Shortly before 8 a.m., however, school officials said they would cancel all classes at both the Lawrence and Edwards campuses, as well as their Leavenworth location.
Weather-essential staff will still need to report to work, they added.
Students are asked to stay in touch with faculty about any classwork via email or its Blackboard service.
Any updates will be posted on its alert page.
