KCSL host leadership training Kansas business leaders
Kansas Children's Service League hosted a free leadership training to improve their businesses with the human touch on Tuesday.
They focused on how truly human leadership can create an organizational culture that brings out the best in their employees.
KCSL partnered with the Barry - Wehmiller Leadership Institute to help corporate leaders understand the benefits of a family friendly work environment.
"We know employers matter because children's parents work for them,"President and CEO of KCSL, Dona Booe said. "When they feel valued at work they are inspired to come home and value their family as they've been valued during the day and to also lead in their own communities."
More than 30 non-profit and profit businesses attended the session.
