Junction City man arrested for child exploitation, drugs

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) -- A 64-year-old Junction City man was arrested Wednesday morning on multiple child exploitation and drug counts.

According to the Junction City Police Dept., William Hedgecock was taken into custody after officers served a search warrant at a home in the 1300 block of Johnson Dr.

Authorities say he was arrested for:

  • 9 counts of child exploitation;
  • Possession of methamphetamine;
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia, and;
  • Animal Cruelty

Investigators did not release any details about the counts against him.

He is being held without bond at the Geary Co. jail until his first court appearance.
