Hundreds of thousands plan raid on Area 51 to 'see them aliens'

(KWCH) -- Nearly 500,000 people say they plan to raid Area 51 to "see them aliens."

According to the Facebook event "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us," the plan is to meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction on Sept. 20 to coordinate entry.

"If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets," states the event in the about section.

Jackson Barnes's pinned post on the page includes a diagram with a proposed plan of attack and jobs: Kyles, Rock Throwers, and Naruto runners (a character from the anime "Naruto").

Barnes is sure to end his post with the following message:

"P.S. Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet. I'm not responsible if people decide to actually storm area 51."

CNN reports while the event may be a joke, it comes just weeks after a group of U.S. senators in Washington met behind closed doors to get debriefed on members of the military who say they have seen UFOs.
