Horton police searching for missing 17-year-old

HORTON, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Horton Police Dept. is searching for a missing 17-year-old who has not been seen since Thursday.

Brenda Middleton is believed to be with an adult man. Investigators say the Horton teen ran away from home sometime between 1 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. and took all of her clothes with her. She was last seen wearing an orange Gas Monkey Garage hoodie.

Middleton is described as standing 5’ tall and weighing approximately 120 lbs., with blonde hair, hazel eyes, and two tattoos. One of them is on the right side of her chest and reads, “Stay Strong” and another one is on her left shoulder blade.

Police say they do not believe she is immediate danger.
