Holton man arrested on child sex crimes

JEFFERSON/JACKSON Co., Kan. (WIBW) - A Holton man has been arrested for indecent solicitation of a child and electronic solicitation of a child.

34-year-old Phillip James Hackathorn was served warrants on his Facebook and Snapchat accounts by the Jackson County District Court, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office then made the arrest on Thursday.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation after an incident was reported last November.

Hackathorn's bond was set at $50,000. He has since posted bond and was released later in the day Thursday.
