Haysville man injured when car hits ice on I-35

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) --- A 20-year-old Haysville man was injured overnight in a crash in Chase Co.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Tyler Godwin was heading south on I-35 around 1 a.m. when his vehicle hit an icy spot.

He lost control of his 2002 Nissan Maxima. It went off the highway and rolled, KHP's crash log indicates.

Godwin was taken to Newman Regional Health with minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt at the time.
