Grandfather charged in granddaughter's death bound over for trial
A Shawnee County court found probable cause for a grandfather charged in his granddaughter's death to go on trial.
Timothy Funk Sr., is charged with two counts of aggravated endangering a child and one count felony murder in the death of Brandy Lee Funk, 4.
His trial is scheduled to start July 27th. He is free on bond.
Brandy was found unresponsive July 23rd at 308 S. Masche Street in Silver Lake.
When officers entered the home they found trace amounts of carbon monoxide.
An investigation revealed Timothy Funk had been running a gas-powered generator in a garage that was attached to the house.
His 8 year-old granddaughter was also present at the house, but survived.
