TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Kansas Jayhawks were nowhere to be found during the 2017 NFL Draft, but that doesn't mean recent Jayhawks won't be in the NFL.

Cornerback Brandon Stewart signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. Safety Fish Smithson signed with the Washington Redskins.

Stewart started all 12 games for KU in 2016. He had three interceptions.

In 2016, Smithson was a First Team All-Big 12 selection and led the team with 93 tackles. He also had four interceptions.
